The team at Martin Building Newcastle transformed our tiny two bedroom house into our stunning forever dream home. Our friends and family who had been through the building process had warned us that the experience is stressful but Andy made it stress-free for us. Andy's communication was great, we felt informed of where the build was at and were involved in key decisions. Andy's knowledge and experience about what is practical and what finishes look great was really valuable. Andy stuck to the timeframe and went over and above for our family. Andy has delivered a high quality job and has a good eye for detail. Where materials/products haven't been up to a high standard, he has returned these to suppliers and demanded new materials/products or organised a different supplier. Andy has been insightful in choosing materials and making fitout decisions that mean things look good but are also a practical fit. Andy is easy to work with and communicate with – we can get a hold of Andy at any time via message or phone call and he is always responsive and keeps us up to date. Andy has been accurate in delivering services within our budget, and has kept us up to date with costs and informed regarding how our choices impact budget throughout the build. Andy is delivering our project on time and to schedule.

You wouldn’t come across a nicer, more trustworthy builder. Andy is reliable, personable and communicates openly and honestly. We appreciate that Andy allowed us to do some of the labour work on the job such as demolishing, tip runs and clean up (where it was safe to do so) to allow us to reduce costs. We are so happy with the work Andy and his team have done at our place.
